If you plan to volunteer in voter registration efforts the VA Department of Elections requires that you complete this brief online training. If you’ve registered voters in the past, it’s important that you retake this training, as the previous training expired July 1. The training lasts through June 30, 2025.
Writing letters to voters is one of the most effective ways to help increase election turnout. And you can do it right from home!
Remember to track how many postcards and Vote Forward letters you are writing, either individually or at events, to enter the chance to win a gift card. Like the Paris Olympics, we are offering gold, silver, and bronze medals. I am happy with an honor system (this is not the lottery we are competing for!) and people can track their numbers and report in. We are looking for donations of stamps to help with our efforts. Please check with friends and families if they can help. I have collected donations, but if we continue our rate of nearly 500 postcards per event we will need more! Thanks!
